A comparative survey What we do (NOT) know about the Ministry of Interior? August 2009 – June 2010 The research aims to collect and summarize the whole data about the quantity and the variety of information available in international aspect. The analyses on the collected data will be presented before the Ministry of Interior and the public as an argument for the need of declassification of the information concerning concerning the work of the Ministry of Interior and improvement of its accountability. Results: At a conference held on January 19, 2010, Open Society Institutе - Sofia and Access to Information Programme presented a report What We Do (Not) Know About the Ministry of Interior. A comparative survey of the availability of information regarding the work of the MoI in the Internet in ten countries was performed at the initiative of Open Society Institute - Sofia and the cooperation of AIP. The purpose of the campaign is to increase the transparency and accountability of the Ministry. The report оn the comparative review is available in Bulgarian.
