Yurii Ivanov vs. Water Supply and Sewerage Systems Ltd – Sliven

On 26 November 2009, Yuri Ivanov filed a request to the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works (MRDPW). He demanded access to the register of the positions, qualification and salaries received by all employees in the Water Supply and Sewerage Systems Ltd – Sliven for the period 2003 – 2008.

The MRDPW sent a notification letter to the requestor signifying that the request had been transferred to the Company. The Water Supply and Sewerage Systems Ltd – Sliven did not respond.

With the help of AIP, Yuri Ivanov appealed the silent refusal before the Administrative Court – Sliven.

With a decision as of July 13, 2010, the court repealed the silent refusal of the Director of the company assuming that he is an obliged body under the APIA in his capacity of head of a public-law organization as stipulated by the law.
