Access to Information Programme together with other nongovernmental organizations including The Bulgarian Center for Not-for-Profit Law, The Bulgarian Institute for Legal Initiatives, Citizen Participation Forum, National Youth Forum, is a member of the Coordination Council for implementation of the Fourth Nationa Plan for Bulgaria's participation in the Global Initative for Open Government Partnership in collaboration with the Administration of the Council of Ministers, Ministry of eGovenment, Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Finance, the National Anticorruption Council, the Council for Civil Society Development, the Commission for Consumer Protection and the National Inspectorate of Education.


The Plan was adopted on July 21st, 2022 and will be coordinated by Kalina Konstantinova - Deputy Prime Minister for Good Governance.


Open Government Partnership is a global initative which aims to provide commited actions from the governmental side to encourage the transparency, citizens participation in governance, fight against corruption, and usage of digital technologies for better governemt.

 

Bulgaria is a member of the initiative since 2011 and by adopting the Fourth paln it confirms the comittment between governmental institutions and nongovernmental organizations to guarantee the partnership in implemetation of the meassurs. The main topics of the Pan are: "Transparancy and access to information", "Open government and anticorruption", "Open data", and "Citizens participation in the government".
