Thirty-eighth National Assembly Committee on Human Rights, Religions, Appeals and Petitions of Citizens Opinion on the Access to Public Information Bill, N 902-01-34, proposed by the Council of Ministers On July 30th 1999 the Committee on Human Rights, Religions, Appeals and Petitions of Citizens held its regular session at which it discussed the Access to Public Information Bill, proposed by the Council of Ministers. The session was attended by 11 MP’s, members of the Committee. As the Bill’s contents did not raise any discussion among the Committee members, it was duly brought to a vote. Eight MP’s voted ‘for’, three abstained and none voted against the Bill. The Committee proposes to the National Assembly to support the Access to Public Information Bill, N 902-01-54 proposed by the Council of Ministers, at its first reading.
